A few words about the Aura Casia brand. Many of us, who have some experience in essential oils, also have the (not so good) experience in buying JUNK instead of essential oils. My personal “horror stories” include residue in the diffuser (indicating additives and impurities), strange smells (possibly associated with the added olive oil – at its rancid point), and simply lack of smell or lack of any effect. We are also told that most essential oils should not be eaten, because they may contain traces of the solvents they have been extracted with. The known exceptions are such brands as Young Living and DoTerra.
However, I want you to discover Aura Casia: it utilizes the SAME exact methods and check-points to assure oil quality (supervising plant quality at the source, careful distillation, undamaging extraction methods, etc.) – but is a lot less expensive.
